For many years, the Spanish Academy in Rome has upheld the tradition of releasing Christmas cards during the festive season, each one showcasing the work of an exceptional artist in residence for that academic year.

During his scholarship in 1999–2000, Paco Pomet was selected for this honor, with his oil painting Tempietto featured on the Academy’s 1999 Christmas card.

A rare and remarkable piece from the early years of Pomet’s career, created at the dawn of the new century.
