Paco Pomet’s fourth solo exhibition at Richard Heller Gallery, Melancholia (2018), is widely regarded by both fans and critics as one of his most important shows to date.

The exhibition introduced a subtle but meaningful shift in his work, with colour becoming more prominent alongside his previously mostly monochrome palette. Several pieces from this show have gone on to become some of his most popular and sought-after works.

To accompany the exhibition, a catalogue was published in 2019, featuring insightful texts, images of all 21 works from the show, and installation photographs, providing a valuable record of this key moment in Pomet’s evolving practice.
