To mark the centenary of José Guerrero’s birth, the Centro José Guerrero invited a group of writers, art historians, and artists to select a work from the museum’s collection for a special exhibition—and to share the reasons behind their choice.

Among the invited participants was Paco Pomet, who visited the center on 16 March 2015 to present and discuss his selection: Litoral (1980), one of Guerrero’s later works. He was joined in conversation by Gabriel Cabello, art writer and professor at the University of Granada.

The talk was later transcribed and published in 2019 by Publicaciones de la Diputación Provincial de Granada.

This is the only item in the Paco Pomet Collector’s Guide that does not feature artwork by Pomet himself—but it remains a notable and valuable piece of memorabilia in its own right.
