Revista de Occidente, the prestigious Madrid-based cultural magazine founded in 1923 by philosopher José Ortega y Gasset, has long been a key platform for thought in the humanities and social sciences.

For Issue 438, published in November 2017, Paco Pomet was invited to contribute the front cover image—a coveted spot in the publication’s history. The cover features his 2012 painting La tempestad, bringing his distinctive visual language to one of Spain’s most respected intellectual journals.
