Punk Buró’s album Post Deep Dark Dance Pop, released in December 2024, features Paco Pomet’s 2020 painting The Lesson on its front cover.

The painting was first exhibited in Beginnings, Pomet’s 2021 solo show at Richard Heller Gallery in Santa Monica. In 2023, the band used the image on the cover of a limited-run lyrics booklet handed out at a hometown concert at Lemon Rock.

This continued a long-standing visual collaboration with Pomet that began with their 2013 debut album Mesmerica, which also featured his artwork.
